The National Entitlement Card Programme Office has advised that the production of Young Scot National Entitlement Cards has restarted. Due to our verification centres currently being closed to the public, we can only accept card requests by email. Please see below for guidance.
Falkirk area High Schools are responsible for processing their own pupil's Young Scot National Entitlement Cards. Please contact your school office to find out more information about applying for your first card, replacement cards and photo updates.
First time card application
When applying for your first Young Scot National Entitlement Card, you will need to email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Current address
- Passport style photograph (see guidance document)
- Proof of age (see guidance document)
- Proof of address (see guidance document)
- Photo referee (only if no photographic ID supplied - see guidance document)
Once we have checked through all the information supplied, we can process a card for you.

Replacement card (lost/damaged/faulty)
If you have previously had a card that you have lost or damaged, you can request a replacement card by emailing email@example.com or by calling 01324 506607. When emailing, please include your full name, date of birth and address so that we can locate your record and process a new card. If you need to change details/photo before you request a new card, please see information below.
If you need to update the details against your card (name, address, photo etc), please email firstname.lastname@example.org stating the details you need updated. Please note that we need proof of identification before we can update your details (letter with new address, old YS Card etc).
